First thing to do is to look for a realtor with a proven track record and years of experience. Your realtor will be your “Buyer’s Agent”. He will be the one to guide you on every what, how, and when to do things. Realtors conveniently administer the contracts, the details, and your deadlines too.
You need pre-approved mortgage as well. With this, you will know the budget that you exactly have for purchasing your house. You can interview a few lenders over the phone, pick one, and arrange a meeting. You realtor can help you with this as well.
Once you know your budget, then is when you can choose a location that fits your budget. Many other factors should be considered too like travel time to and from work, to and from school, and so on. You can get price ranges from your realtor and you can drive around to check out options and decide. From all the choices that you have gathered, next is to pick the house that really fits you, your budget and your family’s needs.
Once you are ready to make an offer, your realtor will walk you through every step of the way from the negotiations until you close the deal. Closing begins once the offer is accepted by the seller. Voila! After closing the deal, you will then officially be a house owner and prepare for moving in immediately.

I want to be an Economist
To be an economist certainly is an interesting occupation. Not too many may exactly understand what is entailed in being one, but being one indeed allows an individual to contribute to society.
Economics is the social science where economists specialize in. The economist may write about economic policies as well based on studies, developments, and applications of economic theories and concepts. Economists aim to learn how the general society allocates resources to produce goods and services. These resources can vary from land, labor or manpower, raw materials or inventories for production, and machinery too. Being an economist puts you in the forefront of research about a wide range of economic fields and sub-fields for the purpose of the betterment of economic policies. These researches are used as well to forecast economic trends enabling the government to prepare for any situation or scenario that may arise. This in further is for the betterment of the country’s economy, and of course for the improvement our way of living.
There are also economists working for corporations. They specifically deal with forecasting sales and demand for a firm’s products or service. Some economists analyze the firm’s competition and see how these competitors grow and capture their part of the market. Using valuable data from this enables a firm to know its strengths and weaknesses, also their opportunities and threats, to further strategize policies and marketing campaigns.
